9/30: Persson ramping up; Myers goes back

Dennis Persson logged a season-high 22:28 of ice time - believed to be the most in his SEL career - as Timra defeated Lulea, 3-1. The game saw the 2006 first-rounder slide to the left side as former Sabres property Mikko Lehtonen (3 GP 2-3-5) was kept out of action. The move to Timra seems to paying off, as Persson is quickly getting a fair shake when it comes to getting a regular shift in the top league. The Sags had some issues getting it going, registering just 16 shots for the game. Also from Sunday, Luke Adam had an assist and T.J. Brennan was +1 as Montreal downed Gatineau, 5-0. Paul Byron was -1 for Gatineau in the loss.
