11/12 Recap: Ennis nets 10th; dirty dozen for 'Piques

Tyler Ennis (+2) scored a goal as Medicine Hat defeated Edmonton, 4-3 in a shootout. Ennis' tenth of the season put the Tigers up 3-1 in the second period before the Oil Kings would come back to tie it in the third. The Edmonton native made a nice leg-kick deke to the backhand to mark in the shootout. Also from the WHL, Tyler Myers was even in Kelowna's 3-1 loss to Vancouver. Kelowna's Jamie Benn (DAL) and Colin Long (PHX) both failed to hit the scoresheet for the second straight game. In the QMJHL, Luke Adam (-1) and T.J. Brennan (-2) were held pointless in Montreal's 4-0 loss to Acadie-Bathurst. Finding the wrong end of the home shutout is especially displeasing when realizing that the Juniors, who move to 11-11 on the season, outshot the Titan 39-12. J.S. Allard was held without a point as Quebec defeated Cape Breton, 4-2. The Alma, QC native has gone cold, collecting just three points in his last ten games after scoring 12 in his first eight. Paul Byron (+1) had an assist in Gatineau's 3-2 loss to Saint John. Les Olympiques held a 2-1 lead heading into the third, but the Sea Dogs scored a pair to send Gatineau their 12th consecutive loss.
