11/26 Recap: Ennis scores; Byron extends streak
In Game Five of the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge, Tyler Ennis scored a power play goal for Team WHL in their 5-0 win over the Russian Selects. The marker put Team WHL up 4-0, as they outshot the Russians 40-16 en route to connecting four times on the power play. Kelowna's Tyler Myers was whistled for a slashing minor in the first period.
The Medicine Hat left wing will look for another goal in Thursday's series finale, equaling fellow Sabres prospects Luke Adam and Paul Byron who each potted two goals in the series' first two games.
In the Q, Byron had an assist as Gatineau upped their winning streak to four games with 5-4 win over Cape Breton. The Ottawa native now has points in nine straight games, and eleven overall if you include the ADT Canada-Russia games.
Jordon Southorn was -1 as PEI lost to Moncton, 3-2. The Pincourt, QC native has three goals and 16 points this season.
