Schiestel to Spits shot down...for now

Friday's Waterloo Record featured a piece on the potential for OHL deals involving the CHL's top club, the Windsor Spitfires. For weeks, it has been suggested that Niagara rearguard Drew Schiestel could find himself wearing Windsor colors before the end of the year, but it appears that may not be case until the Spits up their offer.
Meanwhile, Rychel is working hard to improve his club in other areas. He wants Niagara defender Drew Schiestel and offered forward Justin Shugg. No thanks, the IceDogs said. Shugg is considered soft.

Wish I knew. One of the top skating and PP guys on the blueline in the entire league, has scored points in 16 of 22 games...It seems like getting the game at home would've been a just reward for steering the ship through rough waters early on.
