12/2-3 Recap: Adam lights 20th

Luke Adam picked up his 20th goal of the year on Thursday and added two assists as Cape Breton dropped Lewiston, 5-2. The output gives Adam 47 points through his first 30 games, including seven (4+3) in his last two.

Jacob Lagacé hit for an assist in Chicoutimi's 5-4 loss to Rouyn-Noranda.

In the OHL, Zack Kassian earned a power play assist in Peterborouigh's 5-4 shootout loss to Sudbury. Marcus Foligno was even for the Wolves.

Nick Crawford was +1 with an assist on the shorthanded game winner as Barrie cruised past Niagara, 5-3.

On Wednesday, Maxime Legault scored the game winning goal as Shawinigan edged Drummondville, 6-5. Legault's last three tallies have either tied or won the game for the Cataractes.

Jordon Southorn was -1 with an assist as PEI lost to league stud Saint john, 4-1. The Sea Dogs win was their 18th straight - the 5th longest streak ever in QMJHL history.

In WHL play, Brayden McNabb was +2 with an assist as Kootenay smoked Vancouver, 6-2.
