12/31 Recap: Foligno ends well; McNabb rolling

In the OHL, Marcus Foligno scored a goal and an assist on Thursday as Sudbury ended 2009 with a 4-3 overtime loss to Sault Ste. Marie. The multi-point night was Foligno's first since October 30th, and gives the 18-year old his second three-game point streak of the season.

Also from the OHL, Nick Crawford was +1 as Barrie got bounced by Owen Sound, 6-4. The Colts, needing just three more victories to tie the Canadian Hockey League record for most consecutive wins, saw their streak end at 22.

Zack Kassian was held without a point but earned the game's 'Hardest Working Pete' award as Peterborough edged Belleville, 1-0. The 6'3 banger has just two assists in his last six games.

In the WHL, Brayden McNabb notched a pair of assists as Kootenay doubled up Regina, 8-4. The Saskatchewan native has racked up five goals and 14 points over his current seven-game point streak.

In USHL play, Mark Adams was +1 with a shot on goal as Chicago lost to Indiana, 5-3. Fredonia, NY native Nick Bailen scored a goal and an assist for the Ice.
