Real quick update here as a pair of Sabres QMJHL prospects closed out their pre-season schedules on Thursday...

The 6'2 rearguard also registered a game-high nine shots on goal to help give the Oceanic a 33-27 edge. JGL finished the exhibition season with a goal and two assists in four games. The Nics open the regular season Friday in Lewiston.

Cedrick Henley finished the night -1 with a game-best four hits as Val-d'Or defeated Montreal 4-3 in a shootout. The 6'5 Henley, who did not get a shot on net in the contest, was stopped by Junior netminder Etienne Marcoux in the eighth round of the shootout.
