10/24 Recap: McNabb misses seventh straight

Mark Pysyk finished even Sunday as Edmonton lost in a shootout to Kootenay, 4-3. Pysyk, known mostly for steadiness in his own end, continued to see power play time for an Oil Kings unit that connected just once on six chances. On the Ice side of things, captain Brayden McNabb missed a seventh straight game with a shoulder injury. The 6'4 rearguard has been listed as day-to-day since October 9.

In the QMJHL, Jerome-Gauthier-Leduc slumped to a -2 as Rimouski was blanked by Victoriaville, 5-0. The 6'2 defenseman netted a -6 rating and zero points this weekend after getting a goal or an assist in seven games leading into Friday.
