2/3 Recap: Kassian drops mitts; Shipley gets helper

Zack Kassian failed to get on the scoresheet Thursday as Windsor lost in the shootout to Mississauga, 4-3. Gregg Sutch returned to the Majors lineup, finishing -1 in the win.

Kassian, whose post-WJC hangover has included a battle with a flu bug, has earned a point in just one of his past six games. The 6'3 banger did register his fifth fighting major of the season on the opening shift of the game when he took on the Majors' Rob Flick.

Elsewhere, Steven Shipley picked up a late power play assist as Niagara cruised to a 6-2 win over Sault Ste. Marie. The 6'3 forward now has points in two of his last three games. Ryan Strome ('11) had a goal and two assists to lead the Dogs.
