The penalties cut-in to his first line minutes, causing Armia to finish with an even 13:00 of work. Assat returns to action Saturday against HIFK.
In the OHL, Steve Shipley scored his first goal of the year as Niagara fell to Mississauga, 6-4. The 6'3 Shipley tied a career-low with a -4 rating in the loss, including a first period that saw him on the ice for three goals against.
Dan Catenacci notched a power play assist as Owen Sound won in a shootout over Barrie, 2-1. The 5'10 center has five points (2+3) in his first three games in an Attack sweater.
