11/27 Recap: Ullmark sees top club time; Makarov wins

Linus Ullmark earned his first minutes of the season with the top club Tuesday as MODO skated to a 3-1 loss to Skelleftea AIK. One of the SuperElit league's more dominant goaltenders this season, Ullmark came on in relief midway through the second period and effectively plugged the bleeding by stopping all 10 shots he faced. Things could be aligning for Ullmark to see more time at the Elitserien level starting with MODO's Thursday engagement with Timra.

In the WHL, Andrey Makaorv made 22 saves to earn his 12th win of the year as Saskatoon defeated Lethbridge 5-3. The victory was Makarov's third this season on home ice.

Logan Nelson earned an assist to extend his point streak to a season-high seven games as Victoria was beaten in a shootout by Moose Jaw 4-3. Following sixty-five minutes of play, Nelson lit the lamp with a nice fake and deke as the Royals' first shooter in the deciding frame.

In Finland, Joel Armia missed his third consecutive tilt due to a concussion as Assat defeated HIFK 3-2. Armia has yet to resume skating while in recovery, while a time table for his return is still to be determined.
