1/17 Recap: McNabb tabbed

On Thursday, Brayden McNabb and Kevin Porter of the Rochester Americans were chosen for Western Conference duty at the 2013 Dunkin Donuts AHL All-Star Game. The duo will head to Providence for the events which take place Jan. 27-28.

In Thursday play, Alex Lepkowski (-1) did not register as Barrie earned a 3-2 shootout decision over Oshawa. The Colts return to action Friday at Sudbury.

On Wednesday, Luke Adam scored his ninth goal of the year as Rochester got throttled by Binghamton 5-1. The power play tally, which was assisted by Nick Crawford and McNabb, tied the game at one apiece late in the first period. David Leggio made 33 saves in defeat. The Amerks will hit the ice Friday versus Syracuse.

In the USHL, Judd Peterson (-1) recorded a shot on goal in Cedar Rapids' 5-2 loss at Omaha. The RoughRiders will host Waterloo on Friday.
