Andrey Makarov stopped 34 of 35 shots Tuesday to earn the game's number one star as Saskatoon earned a 4-1 victory over Brandon. The athletic netminder was perfect through 54:18 of play before surrendering a late goal. Makarov pushes his record to 17-15-3 on the year with a 2.77 GAA and .911 save%. The Blades host Edmonton on Wednesday.
