1/29 Recap: Jacobs scraps; Armia blanked

Colin Jacobs (-1) did not score but got in his third scrap of the year as Prince George was pounded at Seattle 6-1. Jacobs remains as the only Cougars skater with double-digit goals (17), while leading the club with 35 points through 44 games. Draft elgible defenseman Shea Theodore scored two goals and an assists to lead Seattle to victory.



In Finland, Joel Armia fired six shots but went without a point in 18:06 of work as Assat earned a 4-3 win over the Espoo Blues. Armia, who entered play coming off a two-goal, one-assist performance over the weekend, has yet to score in back-to-back games this year. The Aces enters Fenruary five points out of the final SM_liiga plahyoff spot.

Linus Ullmark served as backup as MODO's SEL squad rolled past Frolunda 6-1. Ullmark is 2-0 in top league play, earning a 1.19 GAA and .957 save% along the way.
