Joel Armia notched a goal and two assists Wednesday as Finland opened the World Junior Championship relegation round with an 8-0 trouncing of Germany. The productive outing gives Armia eight points (3+5) through five tourney games, eclipsing the seven (5+2) he posted in seven games of the 2012 tournament. Six of Armia's eight points have come on the power play, including a goal and an assist versus the Germans.

Finland continues relegation play Friday versus Slovakia.

You can expect to see Armia during the 2013-2014 season

yes, Armia's contract with Assat expires at end of this season. You could theoretically see him in Roch for the playoffs, but if not, the plan is to have him in camp in the fall.

If there is is a season and the Sabres make the playoffs, is it possible we see Armia or Grigs?

In your opinion will he be NHL ready in 2013-14? Or would a season in Rocheter benefit him; and take Staffords spot in the top 6 when his contract is up.
