In the OHL, Dan Catenacci scored the game winning goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation as Owen Sound edged Kitchener 2-1. Catenacci broke the tie with a power play strike to up his season totals to 28 goals and 62 points (9th in OHL) at the 50-game mark. Owen Sound will square off with division leader London on Saturday for their annual Pink in the Rink outing.

The rugged affair featured 28 penalties for a total of 99 penalty minutes, with McCabe contributing with a roughing double minor and 10-minute misconduct. The teams will look to break the tie Saturday in Grand Forks.
