2/24 Recap: Austin pots winner as Bulls continue charge

Belleville defenseman Brady Austin notched the game winning goal plus an assist as the Bulls extended their winning streak to nine with a 6-3 win over Ottawa. The third-star effort elevates Austin’s totals to five goals and 19 points through 55 games. Draft eligible Sean Monahan potted a pair of goals for the losing side. Belleville looks to continue their late-season push Wednesday when they host Brampton.



Justin Kea went without a point as Saginaw dropped a 3-2 decision at London. Draft eligible Max Domi scored his 35th goal of the year for the Knights, who reached an OHL-leading 90 points with the win. The Spirit are off until Saturday when they take on Sarnia.

In NCAA play, Jake McCabe picked up an assist as Wisconsin pitched a 5-0 shutout of Penn State. Sophomore forward Brad Navin missed his third straight contest. The Badgers and Nittany Lions will conclude the non-conference set Monday in Madison.
