3/6 Recap: Cat cooling

Dan Catenacci was held off the score sheet for the fourth consecutive game Wednesday as Owen Sound was defeated in a shootout by London 4-3. The speedy centerman had plenty of good shifts, including one in the final minute of regulation that saw him break in alone from the faceoff circle only to get get stopped by an excellent pad save by Knights' goaltender Jake Patterson. Catenacci, who leads the Attack with 34 goals and 72 points, will look to end the slump Friday versus Erie.

Brady Austin (-1) picked up a cross-checking minor as Belleville dropped a 3-1 decision to Ottawa. Draft eligible center Sean Monahan paced the 67's with a pair of goals plus an assist. The Bulls loss combined with the London win in Owen Sound gives the Knights the OHL regular season title. Belleville travels to Sudbury on Friday.
