4/22 Recap: Armia assists in Aces triumph

Joel Armia assisted on the game winning goal in the game's 109th minute Monday as Assat downed Tappara 2-1. Armia took the puck at the blue line, took an angle to the inside and made a cross-ice pass to the circle to set-up the feed for the goal. The secondary helper gives the 6-foot-3 winger eight points (3+5) in 15 playoff contests. The triple overtime victory gives the Aces a 3-2 lead in the SM-Liiga championship series, giving the Armia and company a shot at winning the league title in Wednesday's game six.

In the OHL, Alex Lepkowski finished with a minus-one rating as Barrie edged Belleville 5-4 in OT to win game three of the Eastern Conference final. Bruins prospect Anthony Camara buried the game winning goal with five ticks remaining in the first overtime session to give the Colts a 2-1 series lead. Game four is Wednesday in Barrie.
