4/3 Recap: Ullmark strong for Sweden; Colts take lead

Linus Ullmark made 23 saves Wednesday as the Swedish National Team opened their tune-up schedule for the IIHF World Championship with a 6-1 victory over Slovakia. The 19-year old stopper allowed just a power play goal to former Penguins prospect Michal Sersen in his men's team debut. The two clubs will play it back on Friday before Team Sweden heads Riga for a pair of tilts versus Latvia.
 
Joel Armia collected five shots on goal in 17:57 of work as Assat blanked JYP 2-0 in game two of the SM-Liiga semifinal. The Aces take a 2-0 series advantage with the clubs heading back to Jyvaskyla to Friday's game three.

In the OHL playoffs, Alex Lepkowski was even in top-pair duty as Barrie defeated Oshawa 4-3 in overtime. The victory gives the Colts a 1-0 advantage in the Eastern Conference semifinal with game two coming Friday in Barrie.
