10/10 Recap: Possler lights it again; Compher debuts

In Thursday play, Gustav Possler buried a rebound for his eighth goal in his last nine games, and Linus Ullmark made 24 saves to earn his second victory of the year as MODO defeated Linkopings 4-3. MODO returns to action Saturday versus Farjestads.



In NCAA play, J.T. Compher recorded a pair of power play assists as Michigan kicked off the 2013-14 schedule with a 3-1 victory over Boston College. Compher's first helper was a beauty, as he took the puck down the right side into the corner and used his vision to sling a quick pass right to the front of the net to for the game's first goal. The Wolverines make a visit to Western New York on Saturday when they take on RIT.



In the OHL, Brady Austin posted a plus-three rating in his London debut as the Knights defeated Sarnia 4-1. Austin gets to battle his old team on Friday when the Knights host Bellleville.

Nick Baptiste was kept off the score sheet for the second-straight game as Sudbury dropped a 4-3 overtime decision at Peterborough. Dominik Kubalik (LAK) scored a pair of goals for the Wolves. Sudbury welcomes Kingston to town on Friday.
