10/13-14 Recap: Nelson's three-pointer guides Royals

On Monday, Logan Nelson scored twice and added an assist to earn the game’s number one star as Victoria blanked Prince George 3-0. Nelson has goals in five straight games to elevate his season point total to 15 (7+8) through the Royals first dozen outings. Nelson will look to up his team-leading total Wednesday when the Royals rematch with the Cougars.

Justin Kea picked up an assist to extend his point streak to five games, and Eric Locke saw his four-game point streak snapped in 2-1 shootout win over Oshawa. Draft eligible forward Michael Dal Colle scored his sixth of the year for the Generals in the loss.



Justin Bailey assisted on the overtime game winner in Kitchener’s 3-2 win over rival London. Brady Austin finished with a plus-one rating for the Knights. The Rangers host Kingston on Friday, while the Knights will look to get back on track versus Oshawa.

In Sunday action, Nick Baptiste scored his ninth goal of the year as Sudbury was defeated by Ottawa 5-4 in overtime. Baptiste now has nine goals and 13 points through nine contests entering Friday’s tilt with Plymouth.
