10/3 Recap: Possler streak hits a half dozen

Gustav Possler scored a goal for the sixth-straight game Thursday as MODO lost their fifth in a row to Brynas 4-3 in a shootout. Possler's hot start has seen him elevated to MODO's top line, which is centered by former NHL vet and Stanley Cup champion Samuel Pahlsson. His team-best six tallies places second in the SHL through eight games, while his 26 shots on goal are currently tied for sixth overall. Goaltender Linus Ullmark was given the night off in the loss. MODO will look to get back on the winning track Saturday when they visit Orebro HK.
