11/17 Recap: Baptiste shines in Wolves win

Nick Baptiste earned the game’s number one star Sunday after netting a pair of goals and an assist as Sudbury skated to a 4-3 overtime victory over Niagara. Baptiste, who rounded out his busy effort with checking from behind and checking to the head minor penalties, enters late November tied for 15th among league skaters with 30 points (17+13) in 23 games played.



Justin Bailey (-1) was unable to get a point as Kitchener rode a two-goal, one-assist effort from 2014 draft eligible Nick Magyar to 6-3 doubling Sault Ste. Marie. At the 20-game mark, Bailey has amassed six goals, 13 points, and a minus-seven rating for the Rangers, who despite the winning two of their last three find themselves dead last in the Western Conference.
