In a light Sunday on the prospects slate, Christian Isackson netted an assist as Minnesota saw
their 10-game home unbeaten streak snapped with a 6-2 loss to Minnesota-Duluth.
The third-year forward has two helpers this season while appearing in six of
the Gophers’ 12 contests. Minnesota will look to rebound next weekend when they
open the B1G schedule versus Jake McCabe, Brad Navin, and the University of
Wisconsin Badgers.
In the OHL, Justin Bailey was minus-one as Kitchener got
hammered by Guelph 6-0. The Rangers will look to climb out of the Midwest
Division cellar Friday when they host Owen Sound.
