Linus Ullmark stopped 32 shots to earn his sixth-straight victory as MODO came back to edge Frolunda 2-1 in a shootout. Ullmark surrendered a goal midway through the first period, and like so many times this year, it appeared the goal support wouldn't come. That changed in the final minute of regulation when MODO tied the game and forced the extra time. Ullmark, who held firm on a breakaway prior to the game-tying tally, stopped both Frolunda shootout attempts to get the win. The 20-year old netminder picked up his 13th win of the season, backed by a league-best .937 save% and 1.91 GAA (2nd).
In the WHL, Logan Nelson was kept off the score sheet as Victoria got past Medicine Hat 2-1. Nelson has two assists in his last seven appearances dating back to early December.
