2/17 Recap: Baptiste pours two more

Nick Baptiste kept his second half momentum going Monday, scoring two more goals and adding an assist to lead Sudbury to a 4-1 win over Mississauga. The three-point effort ups Baptiste's season numbers to 37 goals (t-6th in OHL) and 73 points (14th) through 54 games. He has been smoking hot since Jan. 1 with 17 goals and 28 points in 18 games of the new year.

Nikita Zadorov scored his 10th goal of the season to help London to a 6-3 doubling of Oshawa. Zadorov, who also notched an assist in the win, has 23 points and a plus-20 rating in 25 games. Brady Austin (+1) saw his five-game point streak snapped, but moved to a plus-42 rating for the year (t-4th in league).

Eric Locke finished with a minus-one rating as Saginaw beat Sarnia 3-1. Despite the Monday blanking, Locke has seven points (1+6) in as many February games.
