2/25 Recap: Ullmark returns to work; Baptiste stays hot

Linus Ullmark earned the start Tuesday in the first game back from the Olympic break, making 27 saves as MODO was defeated by Vaxjo 3-2 in overtime. The loss, which came off a Vaxjo power play goal in extra time, sees Ullmark slide to 15-14 on the year with a 2.00 GAA and league-best .934 save%.

In the USHL, Cal Petersen made 29 saves to earn the game's number three star as Waterloo throttled Lincoln 3-2. The victory gets Petersen back on track after four straight losses, improving his record to 24-4-3 with a 2.39 GAA and .918 save%.

On Monday, Nick Baptiste scored his 39th goal of the year with one second left on the clock as Sudbury lost to Erie 3-2. Baptiste, who also added an assist, has 26 multiple-point games this season en route to capturing 77 points through 57 games. He has 19 goals in 21 games since Jan. 1.
