Zadorov continues hit parade

Nearly a year ago on draft day, London Knights defenseman Nikita Zadorov told the Buffalo media that he "likes to hit". The big Russian didn't put up any points at the 2014 Mastercard Memorial Cup, but he still made his presence known by doing what he does best.

Midway through the second period of Wednesday's round robin finale with the Guelph, the 6-foot-5, 228-pound Zadorov stepped into Detroit Red Wings prospect Tyler Bertuzzi (6'0", 190 lbs.) to add another disruptive neutral zone connection to his 2013-14 resume.

Zadorov was assessed a two minute penalty for tripping. Bertuzzi quickly returned to action by getting a shift on the ensuing power play, and would later score his second goal of the game as Guelph eliminated the Knights with a 7-2 victory.
