SWE: Possler strikes; Johansson returns

In Saturday SHL action, Gustav Possler scored his third goal of the season on the power play to force overtime but MODO was defeated by Frolunda 4-3.

Midway through the third period, Janos Hari put a puck right on Possler's stick for the deflection goal. The marker gives Possler three points in his last two games for a total of eight (3+5) on the year.

MODO winger Victor Olofsson remained in his guarded offensive role for the Saturday contest, finishing with one shot attempt in 8:32 of work. Goaltender Linus Ullmark served as backup after earning victories in his previous two starts.

In the J20 ranks, Jonas Johansson made 39 saves in his first action of the year as Brynas downed AIK 4-2. Johansson, who allowed one of the goal to top 2016 prospect Alexander Nylander, has been battling an infection for the past month and a half, but seems set to regain his spot on the top club roster following an superb showing in his victorious tune-up.
