11/19 Recap: Samson ends well

Sam Reinhart finished strong Wednesday, posting a goal and two assists in the third period as Kootenay lost to a well-balanced Medicine Hat club, 7-3. The three-point night, Reinhart's fourth multiple-point game in five tries since returning from Buffalo, leaves the crafty pivot with four goals and 13 points entering the weekend. The ICE loss was their first since getting their captain back. Kootenay next hosts Lethbridge on Friday.

Elsewhere in the WHL, Brycen Martin logged a plus-one rating as Swift Current blanked Eastern Conference leaders Brandon 5-0. Martin, who has eight assists through 24 games, will continue hunting for his first goal of the season on Friday when the Broncos visit Prince Albert.
