12/30 Recap: Brown pots two; Malone adds point

Christopher Brown scored a pair of goals in a span of 22 seconds Tuesday as Green Bay doubled Madison 8-4. Brown's first two-goal game since the first week of the season gives him 23 points (12+11) to place second in team scoring. The Gamblers are home on Wednesday versus Cedar Rapids.

Sean Malone earned one assist Tuesday as Harvard downed RPI 6-2. Malone has collected five points (2+3) in his first three games for Harvard, who has won seven straight games to move to 10-1-2 on the year. The Crimson square off with the last team to beat them, Yale, next Saturday.

In the OHL, Jean Dupuy picked up one assist on the game's final goal as Sault Ste. Marie smoked Saginaw 7-2. The helper snapped a season-long three-game point drought for the gritty forward. The Greyhounds get back to work Saturday versus Ottawa.

In WHL action, Brycen Martin posted an even rating as Swift Current edged Red Deer 4-3 in a shootout. Martin has 16 points and a plus-two even rating through 37 games heading into the Broncos' Wednesday tilt at Edmonton.

Linus Ullmark stopped 32 of 34 shots but MODO couldn't provide any goal support in a 2-0 loss to Frolunda HC. Ullmark has won seven of 21 starts this season while posting a 3.30 GAA and .904 save%. Gustav Possler posted three shots to extend his goal drought to six games in the loss. Last-place MODO is off until Saturday when they take on first-place Skelleftea AIK.
