1/15 Recap: Thursday blanks

Brendan Lemieux extended his goalless streak to three games Thursday as Barrie edged North Bay 2-1 in a shootout. The three-game drought, Lemieux's longest of the season, leaves him with 29 goals and 42 points through 35 games.

Eric Cornel was blanked as Peterborough was defeated by Owen Sound 3-1. Cornel has scored just one goal since the start of December, a span of 14 games.

In Sweden, Victor Olofsson posted three shots on goal as MODO lost to Farjestads BK 2-1. Gustav Possler returned from illness, supplying two shots on goal. Goaltender Linus Ullmark (groin) did not play for MODO, who have now lost eight straight contests.
