2/24 Recap: Reinhart lends helping hand in loss

Sam Reinhart recorded three assists Tuesday as Kootenay was defeated in overtime 7-6 by Swift Current. The helpers give Reinhart points in five straight games and a total of 52 (15+37) on the year. Draft eligible winger Jake DeBrusk scored his 36th goal in regulation for the Broncos and then iced the victory with the shootout winner.

Jerome Leduc tied a career high with a three-point effort as Rochester downed Lake Erie 5-1. Leduc one-goal, two-assist game was his first since Oct. 19, 2013. Phil Varone scored a goal and an assist for the Americans, Zac Dalpe, Evan Rankin and Daniel Catenacci added singles, while William Carrier contributed a pair of assists. Matt Hackett was excellent with 37 saves to earn the game's first star.

In Sweden, Jonas Johansson stopped 17 of 20 shots as Almtuna IS got past Mora IK 5-3. The victory improves Johansson to 4-3 since his loan to the Allsvenskan league club with a 2.76 GAA and .887 save%.

Victor Olofsson recorded two shots on goal as Timra IK came up short 2-1 versus IF Bjorkloven. Olofsson skated 20 shifts for a total of 15:40 time on ice.

Gustav Possler registered two shots on goal as MODO lost to HV 71 2-1. Goaltender Linus Ullmark sat the game out with flu-like symptoms.

Brycen Martin recorded a plus-one rating as Saskatoon lost in a shootout 5-4 to Regina. The left-handed defender has collected  21 points (5+16) in 20 games with the Blades.
