10/4-5 Recap: Olofsson snipes again; Luukkonen wins

Victor Olofsson put his sharp-shooting power-play skill on display once again Thursday, picking a corner for his second goal of the year as Frolunda fell to Lulea 3-2 in overtime.


Through five games, Olofsson has two goals on nine shots plus an assist.


Elsewhere in the SHL, Rasmus Asplund notched a secondary helper as Farjestad lost in overtime 3-2 in Malmo. Asplund's helper was his sixth point of the season through his sixth game.



Marcus Davidsson skated for 9:06 as a bottom line centerman as Djurgarden cruised past Rogle 6-2. Dacidsson is still looking for his first point with the big club.

On Wednesday, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 31 saves and stopped another four of five in the shootout as LeKi got past Espoo United 3-2. Luukkonen improves to 2-0 on the year with 1.92 GAA and .935 save%.
