11/23 Recap: Off night for Gogulla, Sharks

In the DEL, Philip Gogulla was -3 as Cologne got rocked by third place Krefeld, 6-0. Despite the slow night, the Dusseldorf native has four goals and six assists over his last ten games.

Former Avs prospect Charlie Stephens paced the Penguins, who've outscored Cologne 12-1 in the season's two meetings, with two goals and two assists in the win.

Drew Schiestel remained out with a bum shoulder in Niagara's 6-5 shootout win over Kingston. Alex Pietrangelo (STL) had a goal, assist, and the shootout winner for the Dogs, while Ethan Werek ('09) potted a pair of goals and assists for the Fronts.

Meanwhile the team that made Niagara an offer for Schiestel's services, Windsor, absolutely smoked Sault Ste. Marie 12-1. The trade chip offered by the Spits, 16-year old Niagara Falls native Justin Shugg, led all scorers with a hat trick and an assist.

In the Q, Jordon Southorn was +1 in PEI's 4-3 shootout loss to Cape Breton.
