2/13 Recap: Persson gets a helper

Happy Valentines Day, all you hockey lovers! Here's a quick capsule on two games from last night: Drew Schiestel went pointless as the IceDogs fell to Belleville, 6-2. Tied at one apiece after twenty minutes, Niagara simply made too many mistakes the rest of the way. Belleville would score four goals in the second period, widening their East Division lead to seven points over Oshawa with the win. Dennis Persson had an assist, his first point as a member of Nykopings, in their 1-0 win over Sundsvall. The Sabres first round pick in 2006, Persson has been a fixture in Nykopings’ top-four since his mid-season move to the Allsvenskan. The 6’1 blueliner had one assist in 21 games with Djurgardens of the SEL.
