11/13 Recap: Lieuwen loses third straight

Nathan Lieuwen made 22 saves Sunday as Kootenay lost 2-1 to Saskatoon. Lieuwen, who moves to 10-4-1-2 on the year, has now gone without a win in his last three starts. The ICE return to action Saturday at Victoria.

Kevin Sundher missed his second game with an upper body injury as Victoria edged Red Deer, 4-3.

In QMJHL play, Jerome Gauthier-Leduc finished -2 with five shots on goal as Rimouski was blown-out by Drummondville, 6-1. The 6’1 righty continues to lead all Q defenders with 12 goals and 31 points through his first 20 games. The Oceanic will get back at it Wednesday at Bathurst.

Lieuwen will likely be in Rochester next season. Not sure of #1 or #2 but he has the chops to do well even if he starts with ECHL time. I'm confident he'll be signed and worked into the pipeline while Miller Enroth contracts run their course...
