10/7 Recap: Nelson, Grigo extend streaks

Logan Nelson earned an assist on the power play to push Victoria to a 2-1 win over Vancouver. Playing his third game in three nights, Nelson (number two star) was engaged physically while creating chances off the forecheck. The game-winning helper gives Nelson points in four straight games. The Royals travel to Kamloops on Wednesday.

Mikhail Grigorenko extended his season-starting point streak to eight games with a third-period helper as Quebec was dealt their first loss of the season 4-2 to Blainville-Boisbriand. The Remparts will look to begin a new streak Friday when they battle Gatineau.

In Sweden, Linus Ullmark was given a day off as Mora was defeated by Karlskrona HK 2-1. Ullmark had received four consecutive nods prior to the Sunday rest. Mora takes on Asploven on Tuesday.
