4/15 Recap: Armia empty in Aces' opening loss

Joel Armia punched four shots towards the net Monday but was unable to light the lamp as Assat Pori opened the 2013 SM-Liiga championship series with a 2-1 loss to Tappara Tampere. The scoring line winger skated for 21:29 of action in the loss, his second-most time-on-ice in a non-overtime tilt this season, but the Aces surrendered a tip goal through traffic with just five ticks left on the clock to take the loss. Armia and the Aces will look to even the series in Wednesday's game two.
