Dupuy thrills with OT winner

Jean Dupuy has a new play to lead off his highlight reel after scoring a fantastic goal in overtime Wednesday to thrust the Rochester Americans to a 4-3 victory over rival Syrcause.

Just 1:49 into the extra session, Dupuy streaked end-to-end down the right side, making defenseman Matt Taormina look silly along the way, to score his second professional goal in thrilling fashion.

Dupuy notched a goal and assist to earn the game's first star. He has nine points (2+7) through his first 18 contests.

Evan Rodrigues scored his first professional goal in the Amerks' win. Chad Ruhwedel (1st) and William Carrier (3rd) rounded out the Rochester scoring, while Cal O'Reilly provided two helpers to give him points in three straight. Nathan Lieuwen stopped 30 of 33 shots to earn the victory.
