Wobbly ankle still hobbling Eno

Bowling Green coach Scott Paluch told the BG News that Nick Eno is still bothered by an ankle sprain, and may not be ready for this weekend's action against Boston College and Providence.
Paluch said goaltender Nick Eno's attempts at getting onto the ice at the end of practice last Monday did not go well at all. He said the sophomore goalie lasted about five minutes before pain in his ankle caused him to leave the ice. That pain prompted an MRI on the ankle, which again confirmed that it is just an ankle sprain, but a lingering one at that. Paluch said Eno's status for this weekend is very questionable, and it will be determined this week in practice if he will travel with the team to New England. He will not travel if he can't play.
Eno, 19, was 12-10-0 with a 2.79 GAA as a freshman last season. He will again rotate starts with senior Jimmy Spratt (CAL) once healthy, eventually looking to gain the lion's share as the season wears on.
