1/10 Recap: Foligno helps thrice; Knapp, 'Hawks upset

Marcus Foligno notched three assists on Sunday as Sudbury downed Oshawa, 7-4. The three-point night, Foligno's first since October 2008 and second of his OHL career, gives the banger nine points in his last seven games while improving his season line to 7-16-23 through 41 contests.

In the NCAA, Connor Knapp stopped 13 of 15 shots, but Miami only hit on one of their 39 as the #1 RedHawks were upset for the second straight game by unranked Robert Morris, 2-1. Both RMU goals came with the man advantage, with the first beating him five-hole and the game winner coming on a short breakaway. The loss lowers the sophomore's season record to 3-2-3.

The Colonials (5-12-3) entered the weekend with an all-time Division I record of 62-106-23, but executed well with strong goaltending from Brooks Ostergard (76 saves on 78 shots) to give Miami their first sweep of the season. The RedHawks (13-4-5) will look to regroup for next weekend's set at CCHA co-leader, Ferris State.

In the USHL, Mark Adams was -1 in Chicago's 3-2 loss to Waterloo.

having Foligno and mcnabb in the line up together would be perfect. both seem to be mean fighters and man i am even forgetting kassian. what is darcy up to here? lol.
its nice to see that Foligno has been active in the offence and its safe to say he is our dark horse. i wonder who would win in a fight between the 3? that might make a good future poll.

Congrats bro Anonymous you got PERTAMAX...! hehehehe...
