Gustav Possler saw his seven-game goal scoring streak come to an end Tuesday as MODO's offensive woes continued in a 1-0 shutout loss to Skelleftea. Possler's seven goals are tied for second-most in the SHL through the season's first 10 games. Linus Ullmark made 27 saves in defeat. MODO returns to work Thursday when they host Linkopings

On Wednesday, a big OHL trade took place with Sabres prospect Brady Austin heading from Belleville to London in exchange for Dallas prospect Remi Elie. The deal gives London another big, minute-eating defender in light of Olli Maatta's likely extended stay at the NHL level in Pittsburgh. If the Sabres end up returning Nikita Zadorov to London, the Hunter brothers will have two solid Sabres prospects on their back end when the club hosts the 2014 Memorial Cup.
