Victor Olofsson notched a goal and an assist
Saturday to thrust MODO to a 3-1 victory over Lulea HF. Olofsson has struck for
goals in seven of his last 11 games. Gustav Possler extended his point streak to three games with an assist in the victory.
Tim Schaller netted a hat trick and Linus Ullmark made a season-high 51 saves as Rochester drilled Syracuse 6-2. Nick Baptiste (8) Willam Carrier (7) and Dan Catenacci (9) rounded out the Amerks' scoring. Justin Bailey produced three assists in the victory.
In the NCAA ranks, Jason Kasdorf got back in the win column with a 19-save performance as RPI defeated Princeton 2-1. Through 25 starts, Kasdorf has compiled a 10-10-4 record with a 2.16 GAA and .935 save%.
Cal Petersen made 28 saves as Notre Dame was swept by Providence 3-1. Petersen has started all 32 of Notre Dame's games, going 18-7-7 with a 2.12 GAA and .930 save%. Connor Hurley contributed one shot on goal to the stifled Fighting Irish attack. Providence defenseman Anthony Florentino remained out of the lineup after suffering an upper-body injury last Friday versus Connecticut.
Judd Peterson scored an empty-net goal and Will Borgen finished with a minus-one rating as St. Cloud State earned the weekend sweep with a 6-3 win at Nebraska-Omaha. Peterson has 14 goals and 21 points in 29 games. For Borgen, it was his first minus effort since December 5.
Chris Brown went without a point while serving as the fourth-line center as Boston College defeated Vermont 4-1. The freshman forward has gone five consecutive games without a point.
Sean Malone was scratched as Harvard closed the weekend with a 7-4 victory over Colgate.
In the WHL, Brycen Martin produced an even rating as Everett edged Seattle 4-3. Martin ha splayed 59 games this season, amassing six goals, 34 points and a plus-10 rating.
Brendan Guhle was quiet statistically as Prince Albert was defeated by Saskatoon 2-1. Guhle has career-high nine goals to goal along with 15 assists in 51 games with the second-place Raiders.
Devante Stephens logged one shot on goal and a minus-one rating as Kelowna lost at Vancouver 4-2.
Vaclav Karabacek notched one assist as Moncton won their second in a row 5-1 over Sherbrooke. Karabacek has points in four of his last five outings, leaving him with 13 goals and 24 points through 36 games entering the final month of the season.
