12/3 Recap: Nelson sparks Royals

Logan Nelson collected a goal and an assist Tuesday to earn the game's number two star as Victoria shut out Kootenay 3-0. The two-point night, Nelson's eighth multi-point outing of the season, gets the first-line forward back to a point-per-game pace with 31 (12+19) in as many games. Kootenay star centerman Sam Reinhart ('14) was held off the score sheet for just the sixth time in 30 games this season. Nelson will look to add to his team-leading point total Friday when the Royals host rival Vancouver.
