10/13 Recap: Bailey keeps pace

Justin Bailey continued his early season tear Monday, sending a sharp angle rocket top shelf for his seventh goal of the season as Kitchener held on for a 6-5 victory over Guelph. The seven goals are currently second-most in the OHL, while his team-high 11 points through six contests are tied for seventh overall. The marker extends Bailey's career-best point streak to six games.

In the other Monday game, Brendan Lemieux finished with a minus-three rating and three minor penalties (tripping, roughing, roughing) as Barrie lost at North Bay 4-1. Lemieux and the Colts will visit Bailey and the Rangers on Friday.
